Humanity Restored was created as a space for individuals and couples to feel deeply seen,
supported, and understood. Grounded in attachment, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and
trauma-informed care, this practice is centered on the belief that people are not defined by
their pain, symptoms, past wounds, or relationship struggles.
I believe that we don’t need to do anything to be loved.
Those who love us see us with their hearts, beyond our imperfections.
Our imperfections are precious—they help us recognize those who truly see us with the heart.

Out-of-network benefits: Many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network therapy. I can provide a superbill (itemized receipt) that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I recommend calling your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before we begin.
FAQ
Common questions
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, your history, and what you’re hoping to work on. There’s no pressure — we go at your pace. By the end, we’ll discuss whether we seem like a good fit and begin thinking through what our work together might look like.
Yes — I work with both adolescent and adult individuals, and couples. My approach for both is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment theory, which means we explore not just what’s happening, but the deeper emotional and relational patterns underneath.
I am private pay only and do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill after each session that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurer ahead of time to understand your benefits.
All sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. You’ll receive a link before each appointment. All you need is a private space, a device with a camera, and a reliable internet connection. Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy is equally effective as in-person care for most concerns.
This varies based on your goals and the nature of what you’re working through. Some clients find significant relief in a few months; others find ongoing work deeply valuable over a longer period. We’ll regularly check in on your goals so you always have a say in the direction of our work together.
Yes. Confidentiality is foundational to therapy. The exceptions required by law include imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, and mandated reporting of child or elder abuse. I’ll go over all of this in detail during our first session so there are no surprises.
